Melissa is originally from South Florida, but has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She has worked in the legal field since 1984 starting with a small law firm in downtown Jacksonville as their receptionist and bookkeeper. She has extensive experience in various aspects of the law. Melissa joined Rosenberg & Calvin in 2016 as a legal assistant. She is often the first voice you hear when you call Rosenberg & Calvin. Melissa sets up files, keeps track of medical records and bills, and provides support to help bring your claim to conclusion. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with a few of the small local animal rescue organizations.
After graduating in 1978, with an Associates Degree in Ocala, Florida, Pam immediately began working as a legal assistant. Her employment history includes the Marion County Clerk of Court and the State Attorney’s Office of the Fifth Judicial Circuit. Pam worked for 7 years as the office manager for a rehabilitation company specializing in both physical and traumatic brain injuries. After returning to the legal field, she was employed at a private law firm as a legal assistant in civil and business litigation for 18 years. Pam was a past member of the Marion County Legal Secretary’s Association and was a Florida Registered Paralegal. After a brief retirement in 2019, Pam joined Rosenberg Calvin in October of 2022. Working remotely from Ocala, Florida, Pam serves as a legal assistant in our firm’s litigated cases and assists with the settlement process for our clients.
Pam and her late husband enjoyed raising their two daughters in Ocala. They are grown now and both live nearby. She enjoys spending time with family, spoiling two puppies, gardening, creative writing, hosting a book club and preparing mediterranean food. Pam collects cookbooks, prayers and quotes. ‘There is no one giant step, it’s a lot of little steps’.
